Dr. Yves Verna is the founder/owner of Neopeds. He is an Associate Professor in Pediatrics and Perinatal Medicine with more than 25 years of experience. Dr. Verna graduated from the State University of Cordoba, Argentina and completed his residency in Pediatrics at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University at Harlem Hospital Center where he was chief resident for the year. After completing his residency, he did his fellowship at Cornell Medical Center. He is board certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatology as well as Alternative Medicine. Dr. Verna holds Masters Degrees in Public Health and Health Administration. He is honest, competent, and very passionate about his work, being fluent in many languages. Dr. Verna is committed to providing the best care to his patients and their families.
Dr. Godoy was born and raised in Sweden by a Swedish mother and a Peruvian father. She is a graduate of the Karolinska Institutet Medicinska Fakulteten, Stockholm, Sweden where she earned her Medical Degree. She moved to New York in 2014 to continue her career and start a family. Dr. Godoy completed her Pediatric Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY in 2019. Through studies and travel, she has become fluent in three languages: Swedish, English and Spanish. Her academic interests include childhood asthma and obesity preventative care. She is a current member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Godoy is a hard-working, compassionate doctor, always willing to lend an extra hand!
Samantha is originally from Michigan. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. She went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Marietta College in Ohio. Samantha has studied Spanish for multiple years, including living abroad in Spain. There she was not only able to strengthen her Spanish, but she also was able to learn about their culture and lifestyle. In addition, Samantha is currently learning Arabic.
